How are Lemon Squeezy and Stripe Managed Payments different?
Lemon Squeezy and Stripe Managed Payments are both designed to simplify selling digital products — but they serve slightly different use cases.
Lemon Squeezy is our all-in-one platform. It’s ideal for creators, startups, and small teams who want a fully hosted experience. We handle everything — from sales tax and compliance to customer support and fulfillment — so you can focus on growing your business.
Stripe Managed Payments is a new merchant of record solution, built into Stripe. It’s designed for teams who are already using Stripe or need more flexibility as they scale. It offers the same core benefits (tax handling, fraud protection, global reach), but with deeper Stripe integration and the ability to customize your setup as your business grows.
The good news: You don’t need to choose today. Lemon Squeezy will continue to operate and support all existing customers. And later this year, we’ll provide self-serve tooling to help you explore Stripe Managed Payments — if and when it’s the right fit for you.
Can I use Stripe and Lemon Squeezy?
You can’t use Stripe and Lemon Squeezy. However since Lemon Squeezy is built on Stripe and because we have custom tooling, we’ve made migrating between the two easy-peasy. If you’re already using Stripe and want to use Lemon Squeezy today, we’ll help you make the transition for free.

Lemon Squeezy taught us a lot about what people need in a merchant of record — simplicity, scalability, and flexibility. Stripe Managed Payments is our way of bringing that same magic to a broader audience inside the Stripe ecosystem.
What if I want to stay on Lemon Squeezy?
No problem. We’re continuing to support and improve Lemon Squeezy just like always.
What is the 0% fee introductory offer?
We process each offer manually to ensure if you migrate, all your important store data is moved over correctly. Simply register your account to begin your journey to Lemon Squeezy. Once you have your store and have read through our integration or migration instructions you can begin filling out the form below. After completing setup your offer of 0% fees for your first 30 days–up to $10,000 in sales will be applied.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
Nope. You can sign up for Lemon Squeezy and take it for a test drive for free — no strings attached, no card required. If you choose to upgrade to a paid plan later, you will enter your payment app.
Can I cancel anytime?
Absolutely. There are no long-term commitments or contracts. No hard feelings should we part ways — we want you to find the best solution for you.
Can I sell subscriptions?

Could fees ever exceed 5% + 50¢ per transaction?
We’ve worked hard to keep our fees as low and as simple as possible. We consolidate complex platform fees into one simple transaction fee of 5% + 50¢, but there are edge cases where small additional fees may need to be applied.
